Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications. Disclosed are a base station, a user terminal and a carrier scheduling indication method, which solve the problem of great overheads of signaling due to the great number of configured carriers of the base station. A specific scheme comprises: a processing unit generates a CAI field of a currently scheduled carrier according to scheduling condition of all configured carriers that are configured, the CAI field being used for indicating the total number of scheduled carriers among the all configured carriers and an accumulated index value M of the currently scheduled carrier, M indicating carriers from a first scheduled carrier to the currently scheduled carrier, and the currently scheduled carrier being an Mth scheduled carrier; or the CAI field being used for indicating a number of a previously scheduled carrier and a number of a next scheduled carrier of the currently scheduled carrier; and a sending unit carries the CAI field generated by the processing unit in a DCI and sends the DCI to a UE by means of the currently scheduled carrier. The present invention is used in a process of carrier scheduling indication. |
