The invention relates to a rotation damper in which a controllable throttle cross section between a decreasing-size pressure chamber and an increasing-size pressure chamber is formed such that the effective throttle cross section decreases abruptly. Alternatively, the throttle cross section can be formed in another way such that, after a predetermined rotational angle, a change from a laminar flow of the pressure medium displaced from a decreasing-size pressure chamber to a turbulent flow takes place. |
