A disk brake pad for a vehicle is provided to improve a shear force of a friction member and a back-plate by utilizing the disk brake as an abrasion indicator for the friction member using an adhesion reinforcing emboss. A disk brake pad for a vehicle comprises an insulating member(2) and a friction member(1) making contact with the insulating member. The insulating member adheres to a contact surface of a back-plate(4) by adhesive(3). A plurality of reinforcing embossment elements(5) are formed on the contact surface of the back-plate to reinforce the adhesion and to serve as an abrasion indicator. The reinforcing embossment element has a length of 1.0mm to 3.0mm and protrudes from the contact surface. The disk brake pad obtains a stable braking force for vehicles having a relatively large surface area.
