摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical energy storage device that uses metal chloride as an electrode active material and is excellent in reaction reversibility.SOLUTION: An electrochemical energy storage device includes a positive electrode including a positive active material, a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material, and nonaqueous electrolyte. The non-aqueous electrolyte contains an electrolyte salt represented by Li (XSONSOY) (here, X and Y are F, CF, or (CF), and (CF)forms a cyclic imide anion), organic solvent in which the electrolyte salt is soluble, and polyethylene glycol which does not contain OH at both ends thereof. The positive electrode active material contains a chloride of Cu, Bi or Ag, and the negative electrode active material contains lithium.SELECTED DRAWING: None
