Loading and unloading rack for cheeses - for use with fork-lift truck, enabling rapid loading without shock of large number of cheeses

The middle portions of the individual shelves of the transportable rack have openings arranged one above the other and are open towards the front. The truck brings the rack, loaded with cheeses, into a frame, so that the projecting supports carried by the latter come under the individual shelves. The fork lift is then lightly lowered so that the cheeses, with their plates, come to rest on the supports. The freed, superimposed cheeses are then discharged on to a roller table by the vertical transporter, to which the supports are attached, for horizontal transport to the next operation. The empty rack is withdrawn by the truck, to be replaced by another with a new load.
