Scaled index system with laying-up area uses index sheets which are subdivided into printed and cover areas so that by sealing and covering up printed pages for performance lists can be compiled with the cover-up areas to be utilised for binding systems and internal indicators. The whole system can be used for editorial evaluation. The system also enables the index cards to be punched with holes to facilitate storage in binders and the masked edges can be continuously numbered permitting quick retrieval of individual cards within the binder. The system is simple to operate.
