Feeder for pneumatic conveying plant - has portion of clean air diverted on discharge end of cell wheel

Feeder for compressed air conveying plant for loose goods including a cell wheel with a fall shaft below its discharge end. Connected to the fall shaft is supply of clean compressed air which after entering the fall shaft mixes with the discharged goods and transports them along adjoining conveying line. At least part of the clean air is diverted by a branch line on the discharge end of the cell wheel and its volume is regulated by a throttle valve positioned between junction of the branch line and outlet end of the clean air line. The wall of the fall shaft in which is located the clean air line outlet is inclined in direction of the goods conveying line.
