PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head capable of suppressing resistance of wires connected to piezoelectric elements, and further to provide an ink jet printer.SOLUTION: An ink jet head comprises: a pressure chamber formation substrate 29 where a plurality of pressure chambers 30 is formed; diaphragms 31 partitioning surfaces of one sides of the plurality of pressure chambers 30 and allowing deformation of partitioned regions 35; piezoelectric elements 32 constituted by sequentially laminating lower electrode layers 37, piezoelectric layers 38 and an upper electrode layer 39 from surfaces of opposite sides of the diaphragms 31 to pressure chamber 30 sides in regions corresponding to the pressure chambers 30; and a sealing plate 33 being disposed so as to be spaced from the diaphragms 31 in a state where a plurality of bump electrodes 42 is interposed between the diaphragms 31 and the sealing plate 33 and outputting a signal for driving the piezoelectric elements 32. The lower electrode layers 37 are independently formed for each piezoelectric element 32. The upper electrode layer 39 is continuously formed across a plurality of piezoelectric elements 32. The plurality of bump electrodes 42 is electrically connected to the lower electrode layers 37 and the upper electrode layer 39 in regions away from the partitioned regions 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
