The refrigerated bathroom shelf or cabinet is for storing heat-sensitive cosmetics and medicines out of children's reach and is supported by a console bracket. It is kept cool by refrigeration means acting on the absorber principle. The cabinet can be incorporated with a mirror and has at least one lockable compartment and the refrigeration device is mounted in the middle so that the locked compartment is on one side and an ordinary compartment is on the other. At the back near the bottom of the cabinet is an air inlet whilst at the top there is an air outlet so that heat generated can be dissipated.
