A plastics window frame for a stable, using U section frame members, has the two ends of the members designed to interlock, with a securing bolt at the junction point designed to prevent collection of water in the corner, resulting in deterioration of the mortar at the joint. The ends of both members are closed by a cross web, and the top surface of the horizontal member has a cup shaped projection, into which fits a block on the end face of the vertical member. The bolt passes through these two mating portions.
