<p>The mechanism consists of several guide levers arranged on several quadrilateral jointed links, the arms of which form acute angles when the door is in a closed position perpendicular spring-loaded rocker-type catch is fitted in a position perpendicular to th centre lines of the leverage joints. The hook-end of the catch engages with a roller or shaft fixed on the furniture body. The hook surface is shaped in such a way as to draw the door shut, once the catch starts engaging. The pivot centre of the catch is arranged in approx. the same door leaf plane as that of the guide arm fitted in a recess of the door leaf.</p> |
