<p>The two planetary gears are coupled together by a differential which has its own motor. In practice the two planetary gears are connected by an adjustable hydro-drive or in an alternative design by a locking angle drive whose two spur bevel gears mesh with a bevel gear driven by a servo-motor. Each of the two spur bevel gears is coupled via a reduction gear with the outer centerl wheel of the planetary gear. The steering mechanism is designed to be mechanically simple and provides both steering control and braking functions.</p> |
