Snow and ice control compositions

摘要

A biodegradable, aqueous, snow and ice control composition, having as active ingredient a mixture of urea, ethylene glycol and methanol and possessing a salting out temperature (SOT) down to about -40 DEG C (-40 DEG F) is provided for maintaining roads, airport runways and strip mining soil surfaces free of ice and snow for extended periods.
