A display-object penetrating apparatus is provided to translucently display a display-object which covers a condition-meeting display object, so that the apparatus can avoid a desired display object from being covered and hidden. The display-object penetrating apparatus comprises an instruction unit (101), an overlapping judgment unit (102), a condition judgment unit (103) and a penetrating unit (104). When a new display-object is displayed, the overlapping judgment (102) judges whether the new display-object covers an existing display-object or not, the condition judgment unit (103) determines transparency of a region which includes at least the covered region, and the penetrating unit (104) generates display data in accordance with the determined transparency, so that the validity or invalidity of translucency can be determined depending on whether a hiding display-object meets predetermined conditions.
