<p>A table on which patients undergoing X-ray examination may be supported with a light adjustable base has the raising device (7, 8, 9) incorporated in the table foot (2) loaded with at least one support spring (10, 11, 12) whose total tension counter balances the weight of the patient support surface (16) when it support a patient under examination. The table foot (2) consists of a base section (4) resting on the floor surface (3) and an upper section (7) of adjustable height which carries the horizontal axis (13). The support springs (10, 11, 12) are tensioned between the upper (7) and lower (4) sections. A motorised drive (17) is provided for the lifting device (7, 8, 9).</p> |
