<p>Method for making doors and windows airtight, particularly the gaps (9, 13) between the fixed and opening frames. At least one of the elements is coated with a layer of a vulcanisable material such as a silicone, which will attach itself and harden partially in casting. The material is then covered with a sheet of coated paper and the opening frame closed. The edges are trimmed and the material is left to dry. The opening frame is then opened and the paper removed, leaving the material perfectly moulded to the gap.</p> |
