<p>The anchor (1) is for a balustrade panel (7) comprising a frame with parallel vertical bars. It has slots and fasteners for holding the panel and has a base plate (2) which must be horizontal. To ensure perfect horizontal alignment, two identical disc-shaped wedges (3, 4) are inserted between the concrete slab (D) and the base plate. Each wedge has one slanting face, and the two wedges are placed on against the other, and fixed by conventional fishtail bolts (5). By turning the wedges, the incline of the base plate in relation to the ground is adjusted and the panel can then be adjusted accordingly. Once this is correct, the base plate is locked in position by screwing nuts (6) onto the fishtail bolts.</p> |
