Convex-conical grinding of face toothing - has template probed by pressurised roller on inclined surface

The unit is for lengthways convex and conical grinding of straight and inclined face toothing in a part rolling procedure. A slide carries the workpiece with a roller strip slide composed of upper and lower slides, a profile pattern on a carrier and a roller which probes the pattern profile. The patterns with their carrier are fitted on the machine bed and the probe roller is fitted on an inclined guides. The probe roller is pressed against the pattern by a pressure cylinder on the inclined slide. Inclined surfaces for additional movement of the upper slide are formed by a straight edge adjustable by two screws.
