Device for glueing a fractional lining onto an acurate platform of a brake shoe has a base; an outer support against which the frictional lining may be applied when a brake shoe is arranged in the device; an installation for applying a force onto the brake shoe in order for pressing the frictional lining against the support; and a mechanism for transmitting the force from the force applying installation onto the brake shoe. The force applying installation features a wedge comprising a component which, when moved in direction transversely to the plane of the installation, applies a force at the force transmitting mechanism, which can be brought into engagement with the brake shoe.
