Decarbonisation of cooling tower water in e.g. coal power stations - uses purified flue gases to regenerate exhausted ion exchangers
摘要
Decarbonisation of water used in a cooling tower, e.g. in coal-fired power station, comprises using all or part of the purified Flue gases to regenerate the exhausted cation exchangers used in treating the water. Pref. the carbonic acid concn. in the gases is increased by passing them over a molecular sieve. The process avoids the use of expensive mineral acids.
