Meat for poultry can be turned into a snack for consumption like pommes frites by tumbling the meat, freed from bones skin and fat, for one to two hours, seasoning and pressing into synthetic skins of large diameter. These are treated in a hot air boiler and cut into ships of 1 cm width and 5 cm long. The chips are finally coated with bread crumbs and deep frozen. Such a food can be used as an instant snack like fish fingers. The natural albumin content of the meat is preserved and the food contains a minimum of chemical or other additives. |
