Multi link welding head - with seventh freedom of moving two electrodes relative to each other

Electric resistance welding head with two electrodes is mounted on a frame with three linear and three rotational freedoms of motion. In a seventh freedom, the electrodes can be moved relative to each other. Each electrode has a power cylinder for pressing the positioned electrode against the workpiece. Another fluidic drive is used to alter the relative distance of the electrodes from each other during operation. This creates a welding head which increases the welding output of multilink welding rigs and makes them universally applicable.
