1. A method, comprising:
receiving, at a relay UE and from a remote UE, a sidelink control information, wherein the relay UE is within a coverage area of a base station, the remote UE is outside of the coverage area, the relay UE is configured to relay transmissions from the remote UE to the base station, and the sidelink control information indicates a future transmission of a data packet over a sidelink channel; transmitting, to a base station, a scheduling request; receiving, from the base station, a scheduling grant that indicates an uplink resource; and receiving, from the remote UE, a data packet over the sidelink channel. |
