<p>The deep-fryer has a deeply dished container incorporating an electric heating element, a cover and a frying basket, which fits into the container. The latter has two axial attachments at diametrically opposite points, providing handles for lifting the container and also defining a chamber for housing the electric and electronic control circuit for the heating element. Pref. the handles are formed by cylindrical radial recesses, their inner cylindrical surfaces having rear cut-outs at the side adjacent the container opening. The axial attachments may also have a hooked nose near the base of the container, to allow the lead cable to be wound round them during storage and the frying basket is pref. hinged to the top of one attachment and the cover hinged to the top of the other.</p> |
