<p>The flat roofing system is for a building. It ensures that damp cannot penetrate at joints between masonry and the flat roof while rainwater collecting on the roof can flow away over its edges. Use is made of a form unit in the shape of a sealing profile, as formwork for the concrete cover being cast in the roof edge area. This remains joined to the finished cover, as lost formwork. With the cover (10) lying on the masonry, it is pref. surrounded by such a form unit (12) in the verge area. The unit pref. comprises a bottom horizontal strip (16), an outer vertical strip (17), a top inclined strip (18) and an inner vertical strip (19). Assembly work on site is reduced, with parts largely prefabricated and assembled in a workshop.</p> |
