Triggering control system for inverter - uses voltage monitors at buffer capacitor and at input filter choke for delayed switching

The control system is for an inverter (1) with an LC input filter, using differentiation to monitor a triggering condition resulting in a short circuit, and uses a voltage monitoring device (7) at the buffer capacitor (4) and an additional voltage monitor (8) preceding the choke coil (3) of the filter. The sequence of the monitored values is then used as a basis for switching the inverter on. A triggering of the inverter is sensed by first detecting the voltage at the buffer capacitor then at the choke coil then switching on is initiated after a time delay followed by removal of the delay.
