The tapping device has an insulating base plate (1), carrying on its upper side two conductive metal plates (2), each for a support of a human foot. In the base plate cavity is a busbar (7) conductively coupled to the metal plates. The device contains two length adjustable helical cables (3), whose lower conductive ends are coupled to the busbar. The upper conductive ends are conductively connected to a conductive metal sleeve (4) each which can be gripped by a hand each. The tapping device has in addition a connecting cable (5), coupled at one end to the base plate busbar, while its other end carries a connector (6) of such shape, as to provide suitable earthing of the entire device, using e.g. a protective neutral contact of an earthed plug socket, or water mains etc.
