PURPOSE:A lubricant composition that is made by adding an alkylaniline salt of acidic alkyl phosphate and an alkanolamine to a mineral oil by specified amounts, thus showing high-pressure resistance and reduced metal corrosion and having improved solubility. CONSTITUTION:(A) An alkylaniline salt of acidic alkylphosphate of formula I (R1 is 1-8C alkyl; R2 is H, 1-8C alkyl; R3 is 9-15C alkyl) and (B) an alkanolamine of formula II (R4 is 2-4C hydroxyalkyl; n is 2, 3) are mixed at a weight ratio of 70-99.5 (A) : 0.5-30 (B). The resultant mixture is added to a mineral oil by 0.5-10wt% to give the objective lubricant composition. The component A is obtained by neutralization of an acidic phosphoric mono-and/or dialkyl ester with an aniline such as nonylaniline or decylaniline. As component B, is used di- or tri- ethanolamine, diisopropanolamine or the like. |
