Door latch lock bolting mechanism - has bolt turning in lock case above latch

The door lock with a closing latch has a bolting device (14), above the latch (4) rotatably mounted in the lock case. The body of the bolt can incorporate two circular collars, a trapezoidal lug, and an aperture aligned parallel to its longitudinal axis. The latch can have a recess, shaped correspondingly to the lug, on the top of its shaft (8). The bolting device aperture may be engaged by the pin of a handle rotatably mounted in the doorplate. This provides a latch catch with the bolting device preventing unintentional closing of doors, and also preventing the latch from being pushed into the lock case when the door is closed, thus enhancing security against break-in.
