The invention provides that fishing trawlers which are no longer required for fishing, be converted in that the fish room is converted into oil collection tanks, and the vessel has means for sucking oil from an oil slick on the sea. The vessel is therefore dedicated for the specific use of oil recovery and can be kept at the ready to deal with recovery of oil of an oil spill as soon as the spill takes place. |
