The invention relates to a superstructure of a pivotable stacker, in particular for direct dumping machines. The aim of the invention is to design a superstructure for machines of this type which, with regard to the stability of the components of the superstructure, copes with the extreme loads resulting from the very long discharge booms. The essence of the invention is that the known structural members, tried and tested in practice, of a superstructure, such as gantry, mast with bracing and counter-boom, are arranged in a manner corresponding to the special conditions in direct dumping machines, and the system is stabilised by additional elements. The invention can be used in particular for stackers in direct dumping.
