PURPOSE:To prevent the denaturation and discoloration of ink by keeping the concentration of dissolved oxygen in ink low by providing a tank made of an oxygen-permeable material insoluble in the composition of ink and having an oxygen absorbent in its inside in the pathway of ink. CONSTITUTION:In an ink tank 24 connected with a printing head 20 through an ink suply pipe 21, a filter 22, and a tank connction needle 23, a tank 26 made of an oxygen-permeable material insoluble in the composition of ink and having an oxygen absorber inside and a tank carrier 25 having a small gas permeability and housed with ink 27 are provided. By this, because the oxygen content of the ink can be kept low for a long period of time, the denaturation, discoloration, and blocking of ink can be avoided and stable printing can therefore be performed for long time. |
