The plastic supporting body consisting of a base part and of an intermediate bottom and having a placed-on top part possesses a plurality of integrated structural parts, such as housings for a cooling-air and drying-air blower, cooling-air and drying-air conduits, a condenser-receiving space, and a condensate-collecting chamber with a pump-casing part, and is designed in such a way that a laundry-dryer housing can be mounted on it and a compact air-cooled condensation laundry dryer which can be assembled from as few parts as possible is thus formed.
