<p>A Substance P antagonist for use in drugs for the prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of diseases released by Substance P. The antagonist consists of (D-Pro?2, D-Trp7,9¿) Substance P having the formula$(6,)$A drug for the prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of inflammations, especially in the eye, is also described, said drug containing as the active substance the above-mentioned Substance P antagonist. Furthermore, there is described a method of prophylactically or therapeutically treating a disease which is released by Substance P, or inflammations, especially in the eye. In this method, use is made of a therapeutically active amount of (D-Pro?2, D-Trp7,9¿) Substance P, especially in a form suitable for topical application.</p> |
