<p>Diswasher comprising a washing tub (1) adapted to be supplied with tap water via a water supply circuit, and further comprising an electrochemical cell (15) for generating gaseous chlorine, adapted to be supplied with liquids via a salt container (10) connected to the water supply circuit through solenoid valves (13, 14) controlled by the programme unit of the dishwasher. The cell (15) is series-connected to the water supply circuit and communicates with the washing tub (1) through at least one outlet conduit (61, 62) for gaseous chlorine. The electrodes (21, 23) of said cell are preferably adapted to be connected to a direct current source through a polarity inverter (22) adapted to invert the current polarity periodically. </p> |
