A furniture drawer, having a front wall which can be folded downwards, is provided with pivot bearings which connect the front wall to the side walls of the drawer near to the bottom. Provided for the pivot bearing are plate-shaped fitting elements which are connected to the side wall of the drawer and the bottom or the front wall and, in addition to a pivoting connection, also have a curved slot-and-pin guide. For locking the front wall in the vertical closed position, plate-shaped locking elements are provided on the inside of said front wall, which locking elements are resiliently prestressed so that they automatically engage with catch elements on the side walls of the drawer when the front wall is pressed into the closed position.
