CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording medium 7 which is used by a system for recording by vertical magnetization by using a main magnetic pole 1 and an auxiliary magnetic pole 2 is constituted by forming a Co-Cr film or the like for recording by vertical magnetization between a base 6' of a fluororesin or the like and a thin layer 5 of an auxiliary medium consisting of a high magnetically permeable material such as ''Permalloy ''.
