PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train detection system which photographs a passing railway vehicle at good timing.SOLUTION: A train detection system 1 includes: a plurality of vibration sensors 10 installed at the sides of a railroad line, separated from each other in a direction of travel of the railroad line, and measuring ground vibration or structure vibration generated when the railway vehicle runs on the railroad line, and outputting data showing the measurement result; an image photographing system 20 installed in the railroad line for photographing the specific site of the railway vehicle running on the railroad line, and photographing at timing when the specific site of the railway vehicle running on the railroad line can be photographed; and a detection unit 30 detecting with each vibration sensor 10 that the railway vehicle has passed the installation position of the vibration sensor 10 based on the measurement result output with the vibration sensor 10, and calculating timing based on the detection result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
