PURPOSE:To control bubble devices different from the capacity with a common control circuit, by connecting the bubble devices of different capacity to a common memory controller without changing the control system and obtaining discriminating information of the bubble devices required for the case simply. CONSTITUTION:The number of minor loops MNLs is equal in bubble devices BD1-BDn entirely and the length is set so as to depends on types (capacity) A, B-. In such a design, a discriminating data representing the types A, B-N of the devices is given to a minor loop of each bubble device BD. In an example, this discriminating data is stored in a boot loop BTL of devices having the boot loop. Through the device constitution like this, the devices have the same number of characters in a page and different page number in a sense, the control circuit CTL changes over the management of the page number to each device only, allowing to control each device in common. |
