PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably convey tokens, coins, and heavy small articles by a conveyor by performing drive without any belt slips and slipping in a belt conveyor apparatus in that a number of short belts are connected as a long endless conveyor belt.SOLUTION: A short belt 3a is connected by a coupler 3d foldably in a horizontal direction at its front and rear ends to compose a long endless conveyor belt 3, a conveyor frame 4 comprising a belt reception surface frame 4a for receiving a belt in a forward passage of the endless conveyor belt 3, its left and right vertical sidewall bodies 4b, and a roller 4c pivotally supported by starting/terminating end positions of the belt reception surface frame 4a is provided, the endless conveyor belt 3 is stretched between rollers at the front and rear ends, a tension device 7 for energizing the roller 4c in an outer direction and a drive unit 5 for rotating the roller 4c are provided, and the roller is provided with a plurality of 4cm grooves for fitting lower projecting parts 3d, 3g of a middle coupler 3f and the coupler 3d at the longitudinal intermediate position of the short belt 3a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22 |
