PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device and a plant cultivation method which prevent root rot caused by contamination by bacteria in the soil or excessive moisture content, do not require cultivation experience, have easy maintenance, and are suitable for relatively large-scale cultivation.SOLUTION: There are provided a plant cultivation device 1 that consists of: a base culture medium 10 that consists of a first cultivation culture soil layer 11 on which culture soil is filled, a root prevention layer 12 which prevents plant roots from growing downward, a second cultivation culture soil layer 13 on which culture soil is filled, a water-resistant layer 14 for preventing culture water which is pooled in the second cultivation culture soil layer from moving downward, a cold and hot water pipe layer 15 for adjusting the temperature of the culture soil, and a heat-insulating/heat-shielding layer 16 which blocks heat below; and a unit culture medium 20 that consists of a cultivation tray 21 which is mounted on the first cultivation culture soil layer and in which a third cultivation culture soil layer 22 is formed, and a plurality of cultivation pots 23 in which a fourth cultivation culture soil layer 25 is formed, and a plant cultivation method using the plant cultivation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
