The invention relates to a closing device for doors, especially for motor-vehicle doors. This possesses an actuating drive, by means of which is movable to and fro an adjusting element 3 which engages on a locking lever of the closing device. Furthermore, the actuating drive has a rack 7 forming a closed internally toothed oval which extends in the direction of movement of the adjusting element 3 and with which meshes a planet gearwheel 8 of a gearwheel mechanism (9) drivable in one direction of rotation by the servo-motor 10, the planet gearwheel 8 being mounted rotatably on a web 11 pivotable about the axis of rotation of its driving wheel 13. <IMAGE>
