In sintered carbide material for hot rollers in high-speed rolling mills, where normally a grade of the WC-Co type is used, a relatively large quantity of cubic sintered carbides, preferably TiC, is added according to the invention in combination with a binder phase of Ni + Co, whereby a better oxidation resistance is obtained while preserving the mechanical strength. |
