Chip vessel including transporting truck

Dry precipitators for air purification conduct precipitated dust into a chip vessel which is brought to a dust container and emptied into the latter. Previous tilting emptying is complex and entails annoying dust eddying. According to Figure 1, the chip vessel has a conical bottom (28) with a hole (39) at the lowest point. Said hole is closed by a movably mounted bottom (56) which is coupled to a standing base (51). As soon as the chip vessel has been lifted from the transporting truck and lowered onto the dust container aperture, the base is supported on the edge of the aperture and presses the bottom (56) upwards relative to the conical bottom (28) so that the dust can flow through the annular gap. The movement of the chip vessel can take place using an ordinary fork-lift truck. The associated transporting truck prevents unintentional emptying.
