PURPOSE:To provide a polyacetal compsn. having excellent impact properties, consisting of an elastomer, an acetal block copolymer and a polyacetal. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. consists of a polyacetal, an elastomer having a number-average MW of 10,000-500,000 and a second-order transition temp. of -120-+40 deg.C and an acetal block copolymer having a number-average MW of 10,000-500,000, composed of an acetal polymer component and an elastomer component and having a structure wherein an elastomer having a second-order transition temp. of -120-+40 deg.C is inserted into the main chain of the linear polymer. An example of the elastomer or the elastomer component are polystyrene elastomer wherein the hard segment is composed of polystyrene. |
