PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having improved mechanical characteristics such as resistance to impact and water, tensile strength, flexural strength, rigidity, etc., by blending a polyester and an olefin polymer with an olefin polymer/polyester copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin compsn. is obtd. by blending 0.1-90pts.wt. olefin polymer/polyester copolymer (A) [e.g. a copolymer wherein a polyester linkage of formula I (wherein R<1>, R<2> are each H, lower alkyl; m is 2-12; x is 0-1,000) or an amide linkage of formula II is interposed between the olefin polymer segment and the polyester segment], 5-95pts.wt. polyester (B) and 0-95pts.wt. olefin polymer (C) (A+B+C=100pts.wt.). When component B is used as the main ingredient and only component A is added thereto, impact strength, boiling water resistance and elongation are improved. When further component C is added thereto, a compsn. having improved impact strength and high crystallization velocity can be obtd. When component C is used as the main ingredient, tensile strength and rigidity are improved.
