PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of an X-ray tube caused by overload by comparing an actual load of the X-ray tube with an allowable load in high speed rotation of an anode and interlocking X-ray radiation when an actual load exceeds an allowable load. CONSTITUTION:Tube voltage and tube current which are predetermined are multiplied with a multiplier 1. The output is compared with an allowable load, in low speed rotation of an X-ray tube, of a function generator 4 which inputs image pick-up time with a comparator 3. When an actual load exceeded an allowable load, it is switched to high speed rotation, and an allowable load in high speed rotation of a function generator 5 is compared with the output with a comparator 2. When the actual load exceeded the allowable load, a relay 7 is excited to switch a contact and an X-ray control circuit is interlocked. Therefore, breakage of an X-ray tube caused by overload is prevented over the whole usage region of the X-ray tube and long life is achieved. |
