<p>An elongated lever member (18) defining a handgrip (20) at one end and a partially flattened tubular member terminal end (24) at its other end for snugly receiving the ring-type lift tab (14) of a can (10) therein. The partially flattened terminal end (24) includes a laterally struck portion (32) thereof defining a hook opening along the lever member (18) toward the handgrip (20) for initially engaging the lift tab (14) and elevating the same at an angle to enable its reception within the terminal end (24).</p> |
