PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of undesirable situation of a dropout, etc. by equipping an energizing mechanism press contacting with prescribed energizing force a tape-cleaning member to a magnetic tape surface through a punched hole which is formed in a cassette, and a control mechanism which controls the tension of the magnetic tape to prescribed condition by interlocking the energizing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A tape-cleaning mechanism is constructed so that it detects the tension of the magnetic tape by a tension lever 203 press contacting with the prescribed energizing force the tape-cleaning member 207 to the magnetic tape, and controls the magnetic tape to the prescribed tension through an intermediate lever 209 and friction lever 213 which are connected to the tension lever 203. For example, when the tension of the travelling magnetic tape increases, the tension lever 203 is returned to the clockwise direction by the tension. Therefore, the friction lever 213 is turned to a clockwise direction through the intermediate lever 209, and the contacting force of a reel stand 112 by the engaging part 215 of the lever 213 is weakened against a smoothing part 216 to reduce braking force. |
