PURPOSE:To control the camera position to a subject and to attain the automatic tracking of the camera to the subject by actuating the camera with a signal delivered from the subject or a photographer. CONSTITUTION:A rotating direction indicating signal is delivered from a camera 2 after receiving a signal from a subject or a photographer. The camera 2 is set at an upper part 22 of a universal head attached to a tripod 21. At the same time, the part 22 is supported rotatably at a lower part 20 by a ball bearing 23. Then output terminals A1 and B1 of the camera 2 are connected to the input terminals A2 and B2 of the part 22. Transistors TrA and TrB conduct with the rotating direction indicating signals applied from terminals A1 and B1. As a result, relays RYA and RYB are actuated to switch contacts SWA and SWB connected to a motor M are switched to the direction of each indicating signal. Then the motor M is rotated in a certain direction to turn an internal gear 26 attached to the part 20 via a gear head 24 and a gear 25. This attains the automatic tracking of the camera 2 toward the subject.
